1.Getting started

What is Slipstream?
A platform for competitive Rocket League leagues and tournaments. Leagues run their events here: team registration, groups, brackets, schedules, and results that both teams confirm. Browse the events and leagues without an account.
How do I sign up?
Sign in with Discord; there’s no separate password. Your Slipstream name is your Discord username, and it stays in step with Discord. You need to be 13 or older.
How do I add my Epic, Steam or PlayStation account?
Connect it to your Discord account first (Discord settings → Connections), then sign in to Slipstream again. Slipstream reads the accounts Discord has verified. You can’t type an ID in by hand, so every ID on Slipstream really belongs to the player who shows it.
Does it cost anything?
No. Slipstream doesn’t charge players.

2.Teams

How do I make a team?
Open your portal and create one. You become its captain and can invite players. A player can be on one team at a time, so they leave their old team before accepting an invite.
What can captains, managers and coaches do?
The captain and manager run the team: its roster, invites and event registrations. The captain, manager and coach can all report and confirm results, raise disputes and agree match times.
How do I find a team, or players for mine?
Turn on Looking for a team in your profile to appear in the Players list, where captains and managers can invite you. A team can list itself under Teams with a note about who it’s looking for. Both lists are only visible when you’re signed in.

3.Events and registration

How do I enter an event?
Your team’s captain or manager registers from the event’s page while it’s open for registration, picking a division. The league’s staff then approve or reject it, and your portal shows where it stands.
What does Invite only mean?
The league only takes registrations from teams it has given a code. Enter the code when you register, or use the invite link the organisers sent, which fills it in. Anyone can still view the event’s pages.
Why is my registration still pending?
Staff approve each team themselves. An event can also have a limit on teams: once it’s full, new registrations wait until a place opens. Ask the league if it’s been a while.

4.Matches and results

How do we report a result?
Either team’s captain, manager or coach reports it on the match page. The other team confirms it or disputes it. If they do neither within 48 hours, it’s confirmed automatically.
What if we disagree about a result?
Dispute it on the match page and say why. The league’s staff review it and decide. Slipstream’s own support can’t change results.
When do we play?
Each round has a play-by date. Offer a time on the match page and the other team accepts or declines it. Times are shown in your own time zone.
What happens if a team can't play?
Its captain, manager or coach can forfeit from the match page. The other team gets the win and the league’s staff are told. Only staff can undo a forfeit.
How do the standings work?
A series win is worth 3 points; there are no draws. Teams level on points are split by game difference, then series won. Open How the table works on any event’s Standings page for the full rules.

5.Your account and data

What's public about me?
Your name, team and results in the events you play are public. Your platform IDs are only shown to the staff of leagues your team registers for, and your email to no one. The Privacy Policy has the full list.
How do I delete my account?
From your portal’s Profile page. Your personal details are removed; past results stay, under the name “Deleted player”, so other teams’ records still add up. If you captain a team, hand it over first.
Something's broken. Who do I tell?
See Support for how to reach us and what to include.
