1. Eligibility#
1.1 Every player needs a Slipstream account (Discord sign-in) with a linked Epic, Steam or PSN ID. Replay stats are matched to players through these IDs.
1.2 Minimum age for this league: [TBC] (platform floor is 13).
1.3 Region: [UK / EU, TBC]. Players outside the region may need admin approval.
1.4 One account per player. Multi-accounting and playing on another player's account are banned.
1.5 Rank cap / division placement: [TBC]. Admins place teams using rank/MMR and may adjust placement with a recorded reason.
1.6 Players must be honest about their rank. Misrepresenting it can lead to reseeding or removal.
2. Teams and rosters#
2.1 A team has 3 starters and up to 2 substitutes (max 5 rostered).
2.2 The captain is the team's contact and is responsible for roster accuracy, scheduling and result reporting.
2.3 A player may be on one team per season.
2.4 Rosters lock when the group stage starts [TBC]. Later changes need admin approval, and no changes are allowed once playoffs begin.
2.5 Substitutes must be rostered before they play a match.
2.6 Team names and logos must not be offensive or infringe anyone's rights. Admins may require a change.
3. Season format#
3.1 Group stage: teams are seeded into balanced groups and play every other team in their group once.
3.2 Group matches are Bo[3, TBC].
3.3 Standings: 3 points for a series win, 0 for a loss [TBC]. Tiebreakers in order: head-to-head, game differential, random draw.
3.4 Playoffs: the top [N, TBC] teams from each group are seeded into a single-elimination bracket. Byes go to the highest seeds.
3.5 Playoff series are Bo[5, TBC].
4. Match settings#
4.1 Mode: 3v3 Standard. Default game settings, 5-minute games with overtime until a goal is scored.
4.2 Arena: Standard maps only, [map list TBC]. Teams alternate or use a default map, [TBC].
4.3 Server region: the closest to both teams. If neither team agrees, the home (higher) seed picks.
4.4 Lobby: the higher seed creates it with a name and password shared in the match channel. [TBC]
4.5 Teams must save the replay of every game.
5. Scheduling#
5.1 Each round has a deadline. Matches are played within that window, by default on the league match night [TBC].
5.2 Captains can agree a different time within the round's window. Post the agreement in the match channel.
5.3 Reschedule requests go to the opposing captain at least [24h, TBC] ahead. If no agreement is reached, the original time stands.
5.4 Admins may reschedule matches affected by platform outages (Discord, ballchasing.com, Rocket League servers).
6. Forfeits and no-shows#
6.1 A team needs at least 3 eligible players ready [15 min, TBC] after the scheduled start.
6.2 If a team isn't ready, the other team may claim a forfeit win. Post evidence in the match channel (screenshots, timestamps).
6.3 Teams that forfeit twice in a season may be removed [TBC].
6.4 Disconnects: a team that loses a player gets [5 min, TBC] to reconnect. If they can't, the game continues short-handed or is forfeited at the team's choice. Admins review borderline cases.
7. Reporting results#
7.1 After the series, a captain submits the ballchasing.com replay link or ID for each game on Slipstream.
7.2 The other captain checks the parsed result and confirms. A result is final once both captains confirm.
7.3 Submit within [24h, TBC] of the match. Late submissions may be rejected or lose scheduling priority.
7.4 If a captain doesn't confirm or dispute within [48h, TBC], admins may finalise the result from the replay data.
7.5 Falsified replays or scores result in sanctions under Section 9.
8. Disputes#
8.1 Raise a dispute on Slipstream within [48h, TBC] of the result being submitted, with a clear reason and evidence (replays, screenshots).
8.2 Admins review and may uphold the result, overturn it, or order a replay.
8.3 Admin decisions are recorded with reasoning. Rulings are final for the match, though you can ask for a second admin to review [TBC].
8.4 Bad-faith or repeat spurious disputes are a conduct violation.
9. Conduct and enforcement#
9.1 No cheating, exploits or unauthorised third-party software. 9.2 No match-fixing, including for betting. 9.3 No harassment, threats, discrimination or hate speech, in-game, on Discord or on the platform. 9.4 No impersonation of players, teams or staff. 9.5 Be respectful in match channels and while streaming. Admins can ask streamers to adjust content. 9.6 Sanctions, proportionate to the violation: warning, game/match forfeit, disqualification, temporary or permanent platform ban. 9.7 Enforcement decisions are at the organizers' discretion, as set out in the Terms of Service.
10. Prizes and payments#
10.1 The pilot season has [no entry fee / TBC].
10.2 [Prize details TBC]. No cash prizes will be offered until payments are handled through a licensed provider and the Terms are reviewed legally.
10.3 Any future prize is conditional on eligibility, rule compliance and identity verification where required.
11. Streaming, content and data#
11.1 Players may stream their own matches. The league may broadcast or clip any match and use results, stats and replay highlights for promotion. 11.2 Standings, brackets, schedules, rosters and season stats are public. Platform IDs are visible to league staff only. 11.3 See the Privacy Policy for how data is handled.
12. Changes to the rules#
12.1 Organizers may update these rules. Changes affecting matches in progress are announced in Discord and on the event page. 12.2 Anything not covered here is decided by the organizers, in the spirit of fair competition.
